Labor of Love was ALL that. ❤️ And honestly… it d Labor of Love was ALL that. ❤️ And honestly… it didn’t go exactly as planned. We originally planned a Couples Edition, but what unfolded became something just as beautiful—a Food, Connection & Birth Edition. Because when you bring women together, add good food, good conversation, birth education, and a safe space to be real… love just flows. Love was flowing through the room. Love was flowing through the conversations. Love was flowing through the birth stories. And love was definitely flowing through the food! 😂❤️ Chef Sam took us step-by-step through the kitchen—from making the salad dressing and preparing the salad to creating the sauce and showing us how to season simple ingredients in a way that makes you say, “Okayyy, I can do this at home!” One of my favorite parts was seeing how everyday ingredients—things you might even find at your local food bank—can be transformed into something delicious, nourishing, and beautiful for your family. And then there were the conversations… We shared birth stories. We talked about upcoming births. We talked about fears, expectations, movement, advocacy, and what it really means to feel prepared for labor. There was laughter. There was learning. There was vulnerability. There was connection. And somewhere between the food, the movement, the birth education, and the stories, Labor of Love became exactly what it needed to be. Sometimes the plan changes because there is something even better waiting to unfold. 💕 Thank you to every woman who showed up, opened her heart, shared her story, and brought her beautiful energy into the room. And a special thank you to The Midwife Center for welcoming us into your space and helping create an environment where meaningful connections could happen. This was more than a workshop.
